“Saette” is a new song by Bruno Bavota, composed for the new Italian documentary film, L'Abbraccio. L'Abbraccio tells the untold true story of Antonino Saetta and his son, Stefano, who were both killed by Cosa Nostra (the Sicilian Mafia). Antonino Saetta was the first judge killed by Cosa Nostra and he scheduled to chair the "Maxi Processo" of Palermo, the largest and most significant trial ever ordered against Cosa Nostra. When authorities found the car with both Antonino and Stefano Saetta dead inside, their arms were still gripped around each other – the last gesture of a father to save his son. Bavota’s song is directly inspired by that final act of love and devotion.
